A multinational trading and buying office managing various food categories for European market
Requirements
- Degree holder in Supply Chain, Business or equivalent
- 3-4 years working experience in food sourcing and purchasing
- Experience in frozen seafood or meat, preferably in multinational company
- Solid experience in overseas vendors sourcing and supplier management
- Background from international trading, retail or FMCG industry is preferable
- Detail-oriented, energetic, self-initiative with good interpersonal skills
- Familiar with MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Proficient in communication of both English and Mandarin
- Immediate available would be an advantage
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic buying plan to maximize market sales revenue
- Source and negotiate with overseas vendors to achieve competitive price and timelines
- Responsible for commercial contract negotiation, supplier management and evaluation
- Ensure year-round product availability through efficient supply chain management
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on the implementation of sourcing projects
- Secure stock availability across all countries and perform market & competitor analysis
